My Journey began in darkness, the winding path
was rarely marked and often littered with obstacles.
Now that I have traversed the rocks, brambles,
and even the "barbed wire," I can say with enthusiasm
that every step was worth the pain and confusion.
More important than having reawakened my buried
emotions, I have strengthened my relationship with God.
I understand now that He was with me every step
of the way - and that it was up to me to open
that door and let Him inside
